All Bilkent students are invited to a screening of Fatih Akın’s Gegen die Wand/Duvara Karşı/Head On (2004) on 18th October @ 18:30 in Bilkent Library Orientation Room. A short introduction will be given by our very own Asst. Prof. Peter Cherry.

Film Screening: Anayurt Oteli (dir. Ömer Kavur, 1987)
A film screening of Ömer Kavur’s 1987 cinematic adaptation of Yusuf Atılgan’s novel Anayurt Oteli. This film screening has been organised for students on the Criticism course but is open to all staff and students. There will be a short introduction by Asst. Prof Peter Cherry. Please note the film screening will take place in Bilkent University Library’s Orientation Room.

A film screening of Stephen Frears’ adaptation of Hanif Kureishi’s screenplay, My Beautiful Laundrette (1985). This film screening is organised for students of the Fictions of Migration course but is open to all Bilkent students and staff. There will be a short introduction to the film by Asst.
